Ecological Restorations (ER) carries out advocacy, raises awareness and builds capacity on environmental issues including the sound management of chemicals.
The works of ER are widely circulated and published through the media outlets (print and electronic) thus reaching a wide network of stakeholders.

Notably amongst the works is the “raising of awareness on the effects of POPs amongst vegetable farmers in the Greater Accra Metropolis”, which has been documented by the Stockholm Convention.
Other activities carried out by ER include awareness raising on Mercury (ASGM, Dental Amalgam and the Minamata Convention).
ER also participated in the Elimination of PCBs in Ghana as well as in the Nine Country study on Lead paint project in Ghana under IPEN/UNEP.
Currently ER is actively involved in the Hospital Waste Project involving four (4) African Countries. All these lead to the building of Capacity of ER towards the Sound Management of Chemicals, which is relevant in the National Implementation Plan of the Stockholm Convention
